The Guildhall, Whittlesford
Alterations

The Guildhall is a Grade II* Listed Building of medieval origin, now occupied by husband and wife Cambridge academics.

Various alterations and improvements have been undertaken to suit the owners’ needs and to provide disabled access. Among these was the addition of fully glazed doors which open from a ground floor bedroom onto the garden outside. These were fitted inside the existing oak doors which are retained. The glass is etched with lettering designed by the late David Peace, and was among his last pieces of work.
