The Learmonth Property Investment Company Limited, part of Broadland Properties Limited, have employed Braithwaite & Jackman for many years to advise on maintenance and special projects at the Leeds Bradford Airport Industrial Estate. The building is the former Avro works which during World War II produced the Lancaster bomber. The buildings provide a floor area approaching 1.3 million sq ft or about 12 hectares.

This role has included general building maintenance and an on-going programme of alterations and improvements, including the complete over-roofing of the building in a phased programme of work.

The units are let to a number of prestigious tenants, and our pro-active approach to this project enables the constant attention required by such a vast building to be kept to reasonable and economic levels.
